The team/department We are looking for a Supplier Manager to join our evolving Supplier Management team within Procurement.The Procurement department are accountable for enabling the delivery of value for money from the FCAs supply chain and the management of third-party risks.The Supplier Management team are responsible for the FCAs Supplier Management Framework, enabling the FCA to deliver value for money and manage risk after contract award with our key suppliers.What you will be doing (the role) Manage a portfolio of FIVE key non-Technology suppliers (one supplier with contracts >£50m, two suppliers £10-50m, two between £2.5m and £10m), in line with the FCA Supplier Management Framework, including relationship and third-party risk and issue managementWork with internal and supplier stakeholders to develop strategies and plans to enable the generation of value for money for the FCA and the supplier Undertake supply chain risk management to protect the FCA from supplier failure, service disruption, and financial and reputational damageProvide assurance that contract owners are managing contracts correctly, including commercial, contract, obligation and performance management Support departments in the Operations division, including HR, Cyber & Information Resilience (C&IR), Finance and Procurement, to manage their contractsContribute and provide expert guidance to the transformation of contract management capability in those departmentsOversee and drive compliance in those departments to the Contract Management FrameworkWhat you will get from the role A unique aerial view of the financial services industry, with the opportunity to do meaningful work that makes a real difference, with the opportunity to understand and shape the workings of the financial sector at a time of considerable changeYou will know that the key suppliers that you manage have a direct impact on the FCAs ability to make a difference to millions of consumersThe opportunity to work with and influence senior stakeholders across the FCA, with a mandate to play an increasing role in ensuring the FCA can demonstrate Value for Money from its supplier engagementsAs an Academy business, we place great value on learning and at the FCA we offer world-class development opportunities which will assist you in achieving your career aspirationsOur competitive flexible benefits scheme gives you the opportunity to create a personalised benefits package, tailored to suit your lifecycle.
