As a Barclays Structured Equity Financing Risk, Senior Manager, you will be responsible for the analysis, approval and monitoring of structured equity financing trades, notably margin loans and fund financing transactions. What will you be doing You will be responsible for effective risk management (evaluation of risk/exposure management) of credits within the structured equities market and related financing activity Prudently and appropriately using delegated discretion to approve the granting of trade and limit approval in accordance with Bank policy Ensuring continued support of the business without incurring unmanageable risks Engaging in assessing and making recommendations of proposals received from business development/product areas Staying current with financial analysis and risk profile of the assigned sector, borrowers, and counterparties Alerting senior management to negative developments and trends within the assigned sectors and clients Maintaining data integrity of appropriate Credit Risk systems and ensure they reflect the approved sanction Acting as the deputy to run the structured equity financing team in Structured Lending Finance What were looking for: Bachelors degree in Finance/Economics or similar disciplines or experience Experience working with structured equity financing transactions, ideally from a risk management approach or structuring/trading. In depth knowledge of valuation and risk assessment of structures is needed Demonstrable background in counterparty/credit risk (ideally in Fund spaces) Skills that will help you in the role: Knowledge of regulatory capital rules governing such trades Understanding of corporate finance and banking products, related markets, documentation and precedents Developed relationship building, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex concepts and ideas Where will you be working5 North Colonnade is home to our investment bank and is in the heart of Canary Wharf, just a short walk from our headquarters at Churchill Place.
