Join us in our journey of success.The Role: Degree qualified (BEng/MEng) Structural Engineers with +3 years relevant experience to participate in an extensive array of new and stimulating engineering challenges. Prospective Engineers will have a can-do attitude, an eagerness to continually learnand evolve, and be actively working towards chartership status (IStructE/ICE) to broaden their horizons. Positions are principally required for our Central London office, however, similar positions are sought in the Midlands and East Anglia offices.Benefits

Main Responsibilities

• Produce conception to fully co-ordinated construction details for multiple projects of varying size and complexity.
• Identify defects in construction with the ability to determine their cause and recom-mend remediation solutions.
• Manage a small team of more junior engineers and technicians.
• Assist in the planning, management, and delivery of projects, communicating strategy with project stakeholders, monitoring, and reporting on project progress.
• Actively participate in project meetings with internal and external resources and with project stakeholders.
• Assist with managing the project budget, schedule, scope, quality, risks, issues, and changes on behalf of our clients.
• Pro-actively seek new client opportunities.
• Produce costing proposals and tender bids.

Required Qualifications

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• The ability to develop and apply previous experience to provide innovative solutions to problems.
• An understanding of various construction technologies and practices.
• The ability to confidently liaise with external clients, agencies, and other design con-sultants.
• Good time management and organisational skills to efficiently manage workload.
• A good knowledge of the CDM regulations in addition to British standards and EU regulations.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
• Full UK driving licence and a willingness to travel across the UK to visit sites and other JMS offices.
• Eligibility to live and work in the UK and be able to demonstrate proof when request-ed.
