Agile Working OptionsFlexibility in when hours are worked Job descriptionAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Strategy Senior Manager to join the newly formed Enterprise Risk Platform. This is a key leadership role within the Platform Operations team, reporting to the Head of Portfolio Management.The Group is at a pivotal stage in delivering against its strategy; becoming increasingly proactive, nimble, and efficient is key to ensuring we make good decisions to maintain what differentiates us in the market. The Risk strategy, enabled by the EnterpriseRisk Platform, is key to creating this shift for the Group. Were passionate about building a collaborative, empowered, inclusive and successful team who can connect with this purpose and deliver for our customers.What you’ll be doing...This is an exciting and high-profile role where you’ll lead a team to help define and deliver the strategy for the Enterprise Risk Platform, engaging regularly with senior leaders across the Platform and the wider Risk Function.

  • Developing and maintaining the strategic roadmap for the Enterprise Risk Platform, aligned to the Risk strategy & Group purpose.
  • Embedding the QBR System within the Platform, ensuring transparency and alignment of activity to Outcomes & Key Results
  • Co-ordinating investment prioritisation across the Platform to enable delivery of the Risk Transformation strategic priorities
  • Overseeing interactions between the Enterprise Risk Platform and the wider Group, including impact assessment and interlock of inbound change into the Platform
  • Identifying and prioritising improvement opportunities to drive value in how the Platform operates and delivers.
  • Deputising for the Head of Portfolio Management where required.
What we’re looking for...
  • A track record of building and leading impactful teams and delivering in fast paced environments
  • Evidence of setting and executing strategy - experience in a consultancy or internal strategy role preferred
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence effectively at a senior level
  • A real passion for building strong and long lasting relationships across diverse functional and business leadership teams
  • Strong knowledge and/or experience of Risk Management and Transformation
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to independently manage conflicting priorities
  • A proactive and positive approach to work, using your own initiative and working collaboratively to solve problems
