Job Description

Eton Clarke has been mandate by a Global Investment bank in its search for a EUR SSA Trader to join the trading team based in London. The ideal candidate will have anywhere between 3 to 7 years experience.Details, any applicants must have:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience within SSA Trading or Covered Bond Trading. Candidates with experience trading EGB or Rates would also be considered.
  • Strong Understanding of Excel, Word and Powerpoint.
  • Good understanding of Fixed Income porducts and bank fundamental analysis
  • A meaningful client network within the product.
  • Efficiency in Excel, Word & Powerpoint
Duties & responsibilities of the role:
  • The candidate will operate in a high paced environment. Hence, the platform is looking for a candidate who has experience with Corporate Bonds, can learn quickly to catch-up on ‘missing knowledge and adapt to a fluid environment. The candidate will be partof the Corporate Bond Trading desk and work closely with 3 other team members trading overall Corporate Credit in London and interact regularly with Sales, Syndicate, Research and Risk Management functions.
  • Consistent Market Making in Coverd Bonds/ SSA products to the Banks clients
  • Opportunity to strengthen skill in other areas by providing cover and trade in other sectors covered at the desk.
  • Provide regular market colour to clients, sales and DCM.
  • Identify opportunities to increase market share & product income
