#38797SQL DBALocation: Canary Wharf, London (Hybrid Working: 3 days in the office, 2 days remote)OpportunityYou will play a crucial role in the management, support, and enhancement of their SQL Server environment, making a significant impact on the core systems. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless operation of SQL Server versions 2012-2019,with the opportunity to work on cutting-edge technologies like Azure and AWS. Key Skills Required
  • Installation and Administration: Proven experience in the installation, administration, and maintenance of SQL Server environments (2012-2019) is a must.
  • Large Environments: You should have extensive hands-on experience supporting large SQL Server environments.
  • Azure/AWS Knowledge: Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure and AWS is desirable.
  • Disaster Recovery: Strong understanding of Disaster Recovery solutions and principles.
  • Windows Expertise: Solid skills in Windows Server operating systems, Active Directory, and Clustering.
  • Monitoring Tools: Exposure to Enterprise Monitoring Tools such as Microsoft System Centre Operations Manager (SCOM).
  • ITIL Experience: Strong experience with ITIL principles, including Incident, Change, and Problem Management.
  • Agile Knowledge: Experience with Agile SCRUM delivery methodologies is a plus.
