Job Description

KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors.Job Title:Spectator Safety and Security Tutor / AssessorLocation:London – Hybrid (On-site and Online delivery)Salary:£28,000 - £32,500 + Benefits, Expenses, Health Insurance + much moreType: Full Time, PermanentEssential Criteria for all candidates:

  • Experience of delivering Spectator Safety and Security training courses and/or apprenticeships.
  • Ideally holdarecognised Teaching qualification such as PTLLS / AET (or equivalent) – if you do not hold a L3 Teaching/Training qualification, but have Spectator Safety and Security training delivery experience, we would still like to hear from you.
  • Must hold a qualification in Spectator Safety at L3.
  • Must holdsolid occupational competency as a Security Guard / Grounds Safety Officer or similar in order to be competent to Assess Apprenticeships/Courses in Spectator Safety and Door Supervisor Levels 2 and 3.
  • Must have excellent IT Skills – to support with online learning delivery
  • Ideally hold a Driving licence and a vehicle - candidate must be flexible with travel across London.
Duties:
  • Manage a caseload of approx. learners working towards Apprenticeships in Spectator Safety and Door Supervisor Levels 2 and 3 – also potentially deliver intensive short courses in SIA/Security when required.
  • Deliver engaging training sessions and conduct observations 1-1 and group basis.
  • Travel to learners workplace and various sites throughout London – as well as some hybrid remote/online learning delivery.
  • Support / embed Functional Skills Maths and English where required.
  • Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
  • Organise and maintain documentation on learners progress.
  • Support, advise and motivate learners, overcoming barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner’s needs.
  • Ability to enhance learning delivery and feed into content creation / development.
