Specification Sales Manager - Commercial Furniture Job Title: Specification Sales Manager - Commercial FurnitureIndustry Sector: Commercial Furniture, Office Furniture, Furniture Dealers, Interior Building Products, Interior Design, Carpets, Flooring, Wallcoverings, Panels, Textiles, Fabrics, Tiles, A&D, Architects, Interior Designers, Dealer Partners, Corporate End Users, Specification Sales, Main Contractors, Design & BuildArea to be covered: National (80% South East / London)Ideally based: South (will consider up to Manchester)Remuneration: £40,000-£45,000neg depending on experience + £15,000-£24,000 profit related commissionBenefits: company car or car allowance crica £500 & full comprehensive benefit packageThe role of the Specification Sales Manager - Commercial Furniture will involve:

  • Specification sales role promoting a manufactured range of unique commercial furniture
  • Majority of your time will be spent targeting architects & interior designers, A&D and furniture dealers
  • Remaining portion of your time will be spent selling directly to end users such as construction companies and corporate businesses
  • Project values can range from £5,000 - £100,000 depending on size and scope
  • Will be tasked to achieve circa £50k turnover per month
  • Problem solving, resolving conflicts and providing solutions to customers’ needs
  • Home based position, the further you live from the South East the more travel will be required to the area
    • The ideal applicant will be an Specification Sales Manager - Commercial Furniture with:
  • Must have a proven track record in generating specifications with architect and interior designers, A&D
  • Ideally be familiar with the office furniture industry, although our client is open to any interior building product sold through specification to architects, interior designers A&D such as: fabrics, wallcoverings, carpets, wall panels, acoustics, textiles
  • Would consider someone from an interior design background with no field sales
  • Ideally have contacts within the London based architects and interior designer community is required
  • Must be on the up in your career looking to make a name for yourself
  • Ideally have a furniture background (not essential)
  • Have a passionate for interior design
  • Highly self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Self-starter, good time management skills, focussed and customer service orientated
