Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Specification Consultant covering our Central London region - including Dartford & Bromley.Ibstock PLC is a market leading manufacturer and partner of choice for innovative clay and concrete building products, building the face of Britain for over 200 years.We’re no ordinary manufacturing business. Our customer focus is based on quality, service and consistency and our service-led ethos is one of the key drivers in the growth of our market share over the past 10 years.We are currently recruiting for a Specification Consultant covering our Central London region - including Dartford & Bromley.Focusing on Direct Distribution & Specification, you will be responsible for driving profitable revenue growth and retention of all customer accounts within your geographical area. Proactively developing long-term, sustainable relationships with distributors,end-users and specifiers to ensure that we remain provider of choice.Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Planning, researching and executing potential sales opportunities in order to drive profitable market share growth for the business
  • Consistently delivering against set goals and targets
  • Proactive initiation of customer contact and conversations in order to drive positive results
  • Establishing credibility with customers by building trust - adding value by providing solutions that meets the customer’s needs
  • Utilises a proactive data driven approach in order to make commercial decisions, including ensuring adherence to key sales processes and systems (eg CRM)
  • Developing strong internal relationships across the Ibstock business in order to create better outcomes for the business and our customers
  • Engaging with specifiers to identify and maximise specification opportunities for Ibstock PLC group of companies.
