Specialist Advisory Teacher - Complex and Medical NeedsMPS6 - UPS3 and possible TLRJanuary - July 2023 with the view to permanencyAre you an experienced SEN Teacher with a great deal of hands-on experience and knowledge that youd like to share with colleagues working in Mainstream and SEN schools to support young people with complex and Physical Medical needsMy client seeks a highly self-motivated Advisory Teacher with a background in working with Students who have complex and Physical Medical needs. This is a niche role and its felt it would suit teachers who have had experience working in Special Schools/ Specialist provision, and who are used to supporting students who have a range of needs such as epilepsy, tube fed, cerebral palsy, degenerative conditions. My client is looking for experienced teachers who have taught across different phases of education,supporting students with a range of complex physical/medical needs.You dont need to have the job of an Advisory teacher previously but you do need to be well versed in best practice strategies and be able to support schools/setting to improve the inclusion of learners with Physical and Medical needs.The successful applicant with have hands on experience and able to advise and model strategies to school staff.If you have worked in a Special School/Specialist Provision, and if you have experience of training / supporting staff and families of students who have complex physical/medical needs this role would allow you to share your expertise across a range of schoolsand settings.My client is looking for Special Needs Teachers who have positive, open and creative problem-solving who can add to the teams already extensive skill base.
