Job Description

Special Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)SEN SchoolWestminster, LondonLong-Term, Full-TimeImmediate Start£85-£95 per dayA supportiveSEN school in Westminsteris looking for aSpecial Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA). As aSpecial Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA)you will be assigned key pupils to work with on a 1:1 basis,both in class and with focused interventions. Pupils will have needs inclusive of autism (ASD) and communication support (SLCN). You will be guided by the class teacher and other support staff, who will help you integrate into the class and understand pupils needs.

  • £85-£95 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
  • Long-term, full-time
  • Immediate start
  • Good transport links and access to school car park
The successfulSpecial Needs Teaching Assistant (SEN TA) will:
  • Have a positive attitude and dedication to provide the best care for SEN pupils
  • Have good SEN experience, especially ofautism (ASD) and speech, language, and communication (SLCN)needs
  • Enjoy working in a collaborative team
  • Confidently deliver interventions
  • Have a valid Enhanced DBS
