Special Needs Teaching Assistant / Learning Support AssistantImmediate StartSEN SchoolLewisham, LondonLong-term, Full-time£85-£95 per dayA largeSEN school in Lewishamis looking for aSpecial Needs Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistant. As aSpecial Needs Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistantyou will be supporting agroup of pupils with multi-sensory impairment (MSI), including visual impairment (VI) and hearing impairment (HI), as well as associated communication needs (SLCN). The pupils engage well with Braille, PECS, Makaton and sign language.

  • £85-£95 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)
  • Long-term, full-time
  • Immediate start
  • Parking on site
The successfulSpecial Needs Teaching Assistant / Learning Support Assistantwill:
  • Have a patient and empathetic approach to supporting pupils
  • Have good SEN experience, especially multi-sensory impairment (MSI), including visual impairment (VI) and hearing impairment (HI).
  • Have experience with Braille, PECS, Makaton and sign language.
  • Have a valid DBS / police check
