Job Description

GCSE Spanish TeacherTufnell Park, Camden - Northwest London ASAP Start

  • Full-time Spanish teaching job
  • Ideally starting ASAP
  • Teaching Key stage 3 and Key stage 4 and possibly key stage 5
  • Spanish is taught following AQA
  • This is a mainstream, Ofsted Outstanding secondary school
  • The Spanish department is well resourced
  • Full time (5 days a week) teaching position including planning and marking.
  • Parking is available on site and the school is well served by public transport
ABOUT THE SUCCESSFUL SPANISH TEACHER WILL BE:
  • Qualified Spanish teacher
  • Hold a teaching qualification (QTS or QTLS preferred) or equivalent.
  • Someone who can manage students of different abilities and differentiate lessons in line with the needs of the students
  • You will be proactive and innovative with the ability to engage students in different ways.
  • Be a team player
CONTRACT DETAILS FOR THE SPANISH TEACHER POSITION:
  • Location - Camden, Northwest London
  • Position - Full Time Spanish Teacher
  • Type of work - Spanish teaching in a secondary school
  • Start date - ASAP
  • Contract type - temporary with a view to becoming permanent
  • Duration / Likely Duration - January 2024 - July 2024
  • Full time/part time - Full time 5 days
  • Minimum rate of pay dependant on your pay scale
TO BE ELIGIBLE THE SPANISH TEACHER MUST HAVE / BE:

  • A positive attitude and desire to maintain current standards and raise attainment across the school.
  • Lots of energy and enthusiasm
  • The ability to engage and motivate students whilst making learning fun
  • Excellent communication skills - the school encourages good communication with parents / carers
