Our client Lloyds Banking Group is a leading UK based financial services group providing a wide range of banking and financial services, focused on personal and commercial customers. The role will be worked on a hybrid basis with 2 days/week in either London or Edinburgh offices (per candidates preference).Purpose of the Role:The Finance Reporting Platform team have just undergone a large scale transformation. They now need to bring in a consultant to review their existing SOX processes. You would review their SOX approach across E2E IT Infrastructure and recommend changes, identifyrisks and suggest controls. They are using Oracle and, while their infrastructure is mostly hardware, there will be some Google Cloud.Responsibilities of the role:As part of a small team, you will be working with business and technology teams across the Finance Platform to ensure that technology risks are considered and appropriately mitigated as part of the delivery of the Oracle Strategic Ledger and Cost and InvestmentManagement Initiatives in 2025.Lloyds provide assurance over the transformed financial reporting processes and this involves analysing transformed business processes, including the use of technology within them, working with application owners and technical owners and shaping and assessingcontrols to ensure Finance Reporting related technology risks are adequately mitigated.Reporting to the Finance SME, you will be able to use your expertise and natural desire for change to help evolve Lloyds approach to assurance as they seek to place a greater emphasis on automated, preventative controls. Being able to respond to internaland external change will also be a key element of this role.You will be:
