Job Description

An outstanding SOX Tester opportunity has arisen with a rapidly growing NYSE-listed technology business located in Central London. The role is a 6 month fixed-term contract opportunity.The organisation operates a flexible hybrid working model with 2 days of homeworking.The SOX Tester / SOX Auditor will assist the Internal Audit Team to test in-scope processes for global entities. The SOX Auditor must have proven experience testing the design & operating effectiveness for Order to Cash, Financial Statement Close Process.The SOX Auditor will also assist control owners with remediation efforts to ensure that controls are operating effectively by the end of the year.Main Responsibilities

  • Perform SOX testing including design & operating effectiveness testing and remediation test work.
  • Provide technical guidance and advice to control owners for remediation of internal control deficiencies.
  • Ensure that controls are properly designed for all in-scope processes.
  • May assist in reviewing SOX workpapers.
  • Track and monitor overall SOX assessment status for monthly and quarterly reporting to senior management. Ensure all SOX deliverables and deadlines are met.
Required Skills
  • Strong written and inter-personal skills.
  • Top 10 external or internal audit background with a strong focus on SOX and internal controls.
  • Solid understanding of SOX and internal control concepts (e.g., COSO).
  • Multi-client, commerce experience.
