Job Description

Solution Architect - ServiceNow, ITSMLocation: Remote.World leading digital transformation business has recently set up a new ServiceNow Practice with a view to lock into their huge client base. A hugely ambitious team, they seek a ServiceNow Engagement Manager to join their team while it is still in its infancy.If youre looking for a key role in a state art team with potetnial for career progression then this is it.Roles and Responsibilities

  • Advise the client on the solution architecture options based on ServiceNow capabilities, including the impact of new technologies on their existing infrastructure and applications
  • Assist the sales personnel in the qualification of customer needs relating to ServiceNow and performing pre-engagement needs analysis
  • Responsible for understanding the clients business needs and clearly translating these into a ServiceNow design and HLD for the successful delivery of the Project team
  • Assist the Pre-Sales lead with SoW scoping and definition based on the agreed customer needs and expected outcomes
  • Demonstrations of the product, both standard and tailored to new prospects and existing customers, both onsite and via video calls.
  • Responding to Request for Information/Proposal documents received in relation to new business
  • Can architect complex systems and break up into logical components.
  • Able to articulate both the technical and business impacts of options and solutions that are presented to customers and Tech stakeholders.
  • Liaise between the client, vendors, pre-sales and the technical team on questions, issues, or revisions to solution architecture.
  • Assists in compiling client deliverables including RFI, RFP, SoW and Architectures under the direction of the Account Manager and Pre-Sales leads
  • Responsible for understanding business and technical problems addressed by the solutions including key regulations, business drivers, evolving business needs, security etc.
  • Generation of product demo scripts and scenarios and maintaining demonstration environment(s)
  • In collaboration with the ServiceNow Development Team, scoping and delivering Proof of Concept/Proof of Value engagements with prospects
  • Staying current on ServiceNow product developments and future releases in order to advise customers on future changes to the platform and timelines for new functionality that may help the customer and avoid unnecessary customisation.
  • Qualification
  • Strong Pre-sales experience, ITSM experience would be advantageous (Tool or business process).
  • Exhibits prior and current technical expertise in web technology and the ability to learn new technology.
  • Exhibits high degree of technical expertise with an ability to apply this to business problems
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
  • Outcomes focussed, keeping in mind the people and process elements of any solution
  • Understanding of and experience selling to enterprise IT architecture.
  • Background in ITIL, Service Management, Asset Management, IT Management
  • 5+years of ServiceNow Pre-Sales experience delivering consulting services in several of the following areas: IT Service Management, IT Asset Management, Project and Portfolio management, IT Operations Management, Customer Service Management and GovernanceRisk and Compliance
  • Experience presenting to senior level manager and CxO roles to articulate options, risks and benefits of particular solutions or ideas
  • ServiceNow Pre-Sales or Implementation certifications (TBC)
  • Experience with Public Sector customers and procurement processes/documentation
  • Knowledge of Visio, Miro or other tools to support customer engagements and discussions to build out solutions.
