Job Description

Solution Architect (Azure services)12 months starting ASAP JanAdvantage Resourcing are recruiting on behalf of our globally renowned energies client for a number of Solution Architects who can offer experience and skills in developing artifacts for all architecture domains, with specialism in solution architectureand knowledge of TOGAF.As a Solution Architect you will be expected to create and publish a solution architecture and high level design for new or updated IT solutions, that are incorporating segment view and are fit for purpose to be used for software development, or technical,low level designs. This is achieved by a sound technical understanding, and by working together with Information and Data Managers, Business Analysts, Process and Product Owners, Project and Programme Managers, and other Architects.As a Solution Architect you will drive and manage the development and maintenance of the solution architecture artifacts according to the relevant governing architecture principles.Your background

  • Excellent solution architecture skills, knowledge and understanding of TOGAF. Experience and skills in developing artifacts for all architecture domains, and specialist skill in solution architecture.
  • Solid knowledge of cyber security, risk management and compliance
  • Experience and good skills in solutioning data analytics solution, using Microsoft products
  • Experience and good skills in requirements gathering and business analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to pro-actively identify and reconcile competing interests and requirements relating to data, combined with the proven ability to escalate conflicts timely as appropriate
  • Demonstrable years experience in Solution Architecture
  • Complex stakeholder management experience
  • Hands On experience on Azure Services
  • Hands On expertise with the use of BizzDesign and ArchiMate to model solution architecture and the alignment within the larger segment and enterprise architecture
  • Deliverable-oriented with focus on results. Doer/hands-on attitude.
  • Organized and methodical. Ability to initiate, plan and develop according to plan though coping with a level of uncertainty and risk.
  • Rigorous, thorough and with a taste for detail.
  • Experience in a multi-disciplined, global and virtually operating IT environment
  • Ability to build a shared vision and able to communicate well
  • Knowledge of all architecture aspects and keen to stay up to date with key developments in IT
