London Based Trading Firm seek a Software Automated Tester (ideally Python). Strong experience in object-oriented design and good programming practices. Preference is someone with Python development experience or working knowledge of other similar dynamiclanguages. Experience with a software development environment, such as Vim/Emacs or an IDE such asPyCharm/Eclipse/VSCode. Familiarity with Linux systems as an end user as well as being able to perform basic system administrator tasks. SQL experience (PostgreSQLor another variety) is necessary. Familiarity with source control systems, e.g. git, and bug tracking tools. Experience working with Jenkins or similar continuous integration environments. Preferred: experience working with agile methodologies. Strong writtenand verbal communication skills. You will participate in the full cycle of automated test development. Maintain, extend and improve a large and sophisticated automated test framework written in Python. Design, develop and document automated test cases andtest data. Hybrid role 1 or 2 days in the office
