Backend Engineer (Golang/Java) London (Hybrid working post COVID) £60,000 to £75,000 + Equity + Bonus + Training Budget + Excellent PensionThis is an awesome chance for an engineer with skills with Go or Java to join an industry leading company with a big focus on AI and deep learning in order to influence consumer habits for some of the largest retailers across the planet. This company work with the likes of Specsavers, Louis Vuitton, Topshop, Emirates and Ubisoft and have acquired over $75M in funding since they were founded in 2010. They are looking for additions to their dev team in order to match their growth and project roadmap for 2021 and beyond. In this role you will be building out and managing core systems, architecting scalable microservices and designing scalable applications working closely with product design teams. This company are slowly but surely transitioning to Go from Java so commercial experience with Go is hugely beneficial. The ideal candidate will not only be able to work with 1 or 2 of the languages mentioned but also have proven experience with GCP or AWS. An interest in big-data is also very desirable!
