This platform seamlessly delivers critical data, news, and analytics globally across various commodities markets through accessible channelslike web, desktop, API, Excel, and mobile applications for both iOS and Android.Role Description:As a full-time Software Engineer within a Scrum team, reporting to the Engineering Manager, youll collaborate with global Software Engineers, Business Analysts, and Product Managers. Your contributions will leave a mark on significant projects in sectorslike metals, forest products, and agricultural commodities.Teaming up closely with the Digital Product group, your primary focus will be amplifying the search functionality across our digital platform.Key ResponsibilitiesSoftware Design and Development:

  • Craft technical solutions for new features and product enhancements, particularly within the search domain.
  • Uphold sound software engineering design principles, including design patterns and SOLID code.
  • Ensure the scalability, flexibility, resilience, and security of the developed solutions.
Quality Management:
  • Generate well-structured, clean, readable, testable, and efficient code.
  • Conduct thorough code reviews and maintain high engineering standards.
  • Implement both automated and manual tests for new features.
  • Keep comprehensive documentation up to date.
Leadership and Collaboration:
  • Actively participate in team meetings and stand-ups, bringing forth innovative ideas.
  • Collaborate seamlessly with fellow engineers, product developers, and business analysts.
  • Contribute to resolving support issues as needed.

  • Proficiency in GraphDB and Elastic Search.
  • Substantial experience with .NET/C#.
  • Exposure to Azure Cloud
  • Familiarity with unit testing, continuous integration/deployment, and test automation.
  • Proficient English communication skills, both written and verbal.
