Software Developer LondonAs a Barclays Software Developer, youll work directly with traders and other markets stakeholders as well as colleagues in risk and quantitative analytics. You will build and maintain web applications, Python and C# tooling that improves trading capabilitiesand intraday risk management. Youll work with stakeholders directly, understanding and delivering requirements from the desks. You will be responsible for establishing best practices and use your experience to help us transition towards single page applications. What will you be doing • Taking complete ownership of the design, development & delivery processes • Performing code reviews to meet highest standards • Providing robust and reliable support to the users of application • Becoming a subject matter expert in a business facing web application • Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements • Being responsible for establishing best practices and use your experience to help the transition towards single page applications What were looking for:• In depth knowledge and experience in one or more object orientated languages (Python, C# Java etc.) • Experience building complex software systems that have made it into production • Proficient in using standard CI/ CD tools and source control tools (e.g. Teamcity, GIT) • Writes automated unit and end to end tests for features Skills that will help you in the role:
