NonStop is looking for a permanent Supervising Social Worker who can join a well established Independent local Fostering Agency with Good Ofsted rating in Kent area.The fostering agency operates locally and has an office in Maidstone. You will be required to work from the office 1 or 2 days per week, the rest is done from home. This is a hybrid role, offering you a lot of flexibility and autonomy to manage your owndiary and time.The Independent Fostering Agency Has been founded by very experienced foster carers in 1996 and is still run by the same team today. Their ethos is to create a safe and nurturing environment for the most vulnerable children and young people while retainingtheir independence and integrity. While other fostering agencies became part of large company, this one remained local and small and continued to prioritise children and carers over profit.ResponsibilitiesThe Supervising Social Worker will oversee a small caseload of 10 - 12 the foster carers. They are located in Maidstone and Medway areas. The role includes mainly supervision and support of the foster carers, no need to complete annual reviewsor form F assessments which can offer a balanced workload and will allow you to focus on high quality supervision.RequirementsPlease apply if:- you are a Qualified Social Worker- you have experience in Fostering or if you worked closely with the Fostering Social Workers- you driveBenefits* Permanent contract which is stable and indefinite * Carers are concentrated in Maidstone/Medway - no need to travel very far to multiple locations* Flexible to work from home - 1 day per week is necessary for duty* Low caseload capped at 12 households,no need to complete form Fs or annual reviews * Extensive training opportunities, they welcome someone from children front-line background as well * Salary is very good can get up to £40,000 + allowances * 28 days of annual leave rising annually + bank holidays*Company pension, free parkingThere is a bit of flexibility on the salary, please put your application forward and we would discuss this.
