Site Manager Belfast Competitive Day Rates 2 year Contract, Monday - Friday 40 hours per week Starting at the end of July An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time Site Manager who will form part of the core project management team for prestigious principal contractors in a 2 year long contract starting at the end of July. Working on behalf of a global market leading client within the Power sector dealing specifically with Generation, Civils, Oil and Gas the successful candidate will have the opportunity to be part of a highly skilled team that values commitment and a passion for thoroughness working on a large construction and commissioning project based on Gas installation and Civils. Being responsible of all aspects of site organisation you will have experience handling multi-packaged approaches to projects accompanied with a constructive confident leadership style. You will manage and supervise all construction activities at site ensuring all works are completed safely and according to plan. As a Site Manager you will be expected to pro-actively identify interface issues at site level and propose solutions. The successful candidate will work closely with all key stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a background of Site Management with experience in managing highly hazardous site construction activities which includes working with high pressure hydrocarbons and high voltage systems, who can review detailed construction plans, providing progress updates and optimising where possible. The Role: *Reporting to the Head of Construction and Project Managers *Safety - Ensuring all site works are completed safely in accordance with the CDM regulations *Management during the supply, installation and commissioning 1st, 2nd and 3rd phases of the project *Development of an overall project Construction Strategy *Strong Leadership developing a One Team environment within the Project Site ensuring everyone have the right behaviours when completing works *Site based with no option of Remote work The Person: *Engineering Degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Civils *CITB / SMSTS *Recent experience as a Site Manager handling Multiple package projects *IOSH / NEBOSH or similar Key words: Site Manager, Manager, Contract, Energy, Power Generation , SMSTS, CITB, Electrical, Civils, Mechanical, Construction, London, South East, Sheffield, Temporary Required skills
