Job Description

Facilities Coordinator / Site Caretaker Salary - £11 - £12Hours: Monday-Friday - Hours will vary between 8:00am-8.00pm - (Shift pattern will vary depending on when cover is needed)Have you recently finished a role and looking for a new exciting site to work on If you are a hard working flexible candidate looking to gain experience working on a historic landmark in London then this may just be the role for you!My client is looking for a Facilities Coordinator / Site Caretaker to join their team ASAP, the site is over 150 years old and is a grade 2 listed building.Overview of the role :

  • Unlocking-currently the building is unlocked by the morning cleaner but in emergencies the Facilities Co-ordinator will be required to cover this function * Opening and closing, unlocking and locking of school offices, studios and buildings * Closing the school for evening use at times arranged by the OPs team * Monitoring and administering CCTV system * Unsetting and setting of school alarm systems * Responding to, and resetting of, the school alarm, liaising with the police and alarm company * Checking and securing the school premises subsequent to out of hours intruder
What a successful Facilities coordinator/ Site Caretaker looks like:
  • Minimum 1 years experience within a similar role
  • Basic maintenance experience - Completion of daily time sheets and completion of daily diary Heating, Lighting and Water maintenance * The switching off of all lights and appropriate electric plug sockets
  • Will hold an in date DBS or will pass a DBS check with no convictions
