Job DescriptionTitle : ServiceNow Solution/Technical ArchitectSalary: National - ranging from £65,200 - £95,000 and London from £67,900 - £105,000 per annum.Would you like an opportunity to be at the forefront of our ambition to be a data and technology driven regulator of the future The team/departmentThe ServiceNow Solution/Technical Architect will be working within the ERP Product Group DevOps team within our Data Tech & Innovation division.The role will be collaborating with the ERP Product Group and key business owners and SMEs within the team.What you will be doing* Engaging with stakeholders and the business to gather the requirements and identify the best possible and creative solutions* Document the Architecture papers and Architecture design documents to present them in the various decision authorities within the FCA* Work alongside the product owner to develop and maintain the strategic road map of the platform based on the developments happening within FCA* Ensuring the technical documentation of the platform is up to date and make contributions to it regularly* Ensure that the developers are following the best practices while developing the stories by providing clear guidance and reviews* Solving complex development work, integrations, develop POCs where required to deliver to the timelineWhat you will get from the role * Exposure to work with technical expertise from all the departments of the FCA thereby providing you a chance to upskill in ServiceNow and technology* An opportunity to represent, drive and lead the strategic development of the ServiceNow platform at FCA* Work in a fun and friendly agile team who are passionate about making a difference* An inclusive and diverse environment with opportunities to join staff networksOur competitive flexible benefits scheme gives you the opportunity to create a personalised benefits package, tailored to suit your lifecycle. The skills and experience youll have Minimum We are a signatory to the Governments Disability Confident scheme. This means that we will offer an interview to disabled candidates entering under the scheme, should they meet the minimum criteria for a role. * Proven experience in command on ITOM discovery, ITSM and CMDB modules* Excellent command on the platforms including ACLs, UI policies, Client scripts, UI actions, Business rules, Workflows, Flow Designer, Mid Server configuration and ServiceNow practices* SME in Java scripting, integrations using Data source, REST/SOAP APIs and Integration hubEssential* Working in a financial services, public sector or a regulated environment, using architecture methodologies and tools (TOGAF, EA Sparx, RSA) to deliver a high-level technical designs, architecture deliverables and providing advice and guidance in relationto maintenance of an architecture road map* Working in complex and significant n-tier implementations (£5M+), delivering architecture artefacts to software project management, SDLC, SCRUM and Agile methodologies* Ability to forge strong working relationship with stakeholders and team members* Support the Product Owner in their activities of prioritization, planning and release activities whilst playing a proactive role in the team* Gather and review business, technical and operational requirements to ensure there are effective designs and builds that can be tested and implementedAbout the FCA The FCA regulates the conduct of 50,000 firms in the UK to ensure our financial markets are honest, fair and competitive.
