Job Description

PLEASE NOTE - there is a mandatory requirement to be in the office twice a week. The office you can work at can be either Bristol, Leeds, Manchester, Halifax or Edinburgh. Could potentially be London.This vacancy brings a superb opportunity to be involved in delivering the Data Pillar, from scratch. This will be a unique opportunity to stand up a brand-new pillar in ServiceNow. You will be playing a crucial part in Programme to help us deliver the toolingrequirements, solution design, test, and deployment around this to enable us to meet Operational/Data Resilience FCA & PRA regulation.The successful candidate will be involved in the end-to-end delivery, from user stories, designing and agreeing the solution to testing and implementation. You need to be thinking about the solutions, gathering insights, assessing how it can be deliveredusing ServiceNow, to analysis stage. You will need to understand data and resilience, business continuity planning, disaster recovery.There will be around 6-7 months of solutioning then moving into analysis.

  • Working with the Data Resilience team continue to determine what data is required for IBSs, how that data flows, and how we can make the data and processes around data more resilient.
  • You will work with Centre of Excellence (CoE) and shape the required E2E solution and the integration of that solution.
  • Resource to act as a relationship manager for data lineage
It is essential for a candidate to have:
  • A working knowledge of ServiceNow development with the ability to shape the solution, support requirement definition and work with ServiceNow devs to deliver.
  • An expert level understanding of the ServiceNow Platform: IT SM, CMDB, JRC, INS-PI.
  • A strong understanding of various classes within CMDB and relationships in ServiceNow (messaging queues, batches, unstructured data, applications, datastores etc.)
  • Full awareness of the business analysis artefacts (state diagrams, workflow orchestration, user stories, data model, metadata) and have a proven track record of producing these documents.
  • Ability to build relationships across wide reaching business teams. Be passionate about technology and its application to solve problems with a level of understanding of Data Resilience and its dimensions (such as data vaulting, data back-up, encryption)
  • Experience and confidence in running workshops and engaging stakeholders with the ability to work independently.
