Job Description

Title: ServiceNow Senior Administrator/DeveloperSalary: National - ranging from £49,700 - £70,000 and London from £53,300 - £80,000 per annum Would you like an opportunity to be at the forefront of our ambition to be a data and technology-driven regulator of the future The team/departmentThe ServiceNow Senior Administrator / Developer will be working within the ERP Product Group DevOps team within our Data Tech & Innovation division.The role will be collaborating with the ERP Product Group and key business owners and SMEs within the team.You will play the role of a senior developer in a team delivering improvements to our existing ServiceNow instance and business-as-usual operations. Additionally, the identification of new opportunities for leveraging the functionality offered in the latestversions of ServiceNow.What you will be doing* You will administer, configuring, customising, and integrating the platform while working in a DevOps operating model to ensure the instance is upgraded following the ServiceNow cadence and FCA roadmap* Supply creative solutions for customer requirements utilising the technology stack available within ServiceNow including JavaScript, Flows, Integration Hub and Workflows following the ServiceNow and ITIL best practices* Guiding other members in an Agile team with a strong focus on continuously delivering value to the customers while making sure that the Sprint goals and Product goals are achieved and is adhering to the Product roadmap* Create and maintain documentation where necessary whilst mentoring the team* Participating in technical discussions with stakeholders alongside the Product owner and Technical Architects to develop and grasp the context of the requirements before implementing them* Provide BAU guidance for the platform alongside other team members in production releases.What you will get from the role * Exposure and a chance to upskill in various modules of ServiceNow including ITSM Pro, HR, SIR, Vulnerability Response, SecOps and ITOM discovery * Work in a fun and friendly agile team who are passionate about making a difference* An inclusive and diverse environment with opportunities to join the staff networks.Our competitive flexible benefits scheme gives you the opportunity to create a personalised benefits package, tailored to suit your lifecycle. This means that we will offer an interview to disabled candidates entering under the scheme, should they meet the minimum criteria for a role. * Proven experience in ServiceNow Administration and Development* Certified as a ServiceNow System Administrator* ITIL V3/V4 Foundation accreditationEssential* Excellent command on the platform basics including ACLs, UI policies, Client scripts, UI actions, Business rules, Workflows, Flow Designer, Mid Server configuration and ServiceNow best practices* Strong experience in designing, building, and implementing solutions for the following modules: ITSM, CMDB, ITOM, HRSD, SIR and SecOps* Competent in various integration methods such as Data source, REST/SOAP APIs and Integration hub* Good knowledge of OOTB capabilities of ServiceNow and a hunger to keep yourself up to date with the developments in the ServiceNow world* Identify and implement the right solution using your knowledge of the capabilities of the platform* Ability to forge and maintain strong relationship with team members and stakeholdersAbout the FCA The FCA regulates the conduct of 50,000 firms in the UK to ensure our financial markets are honest, fair and competitive.
