Cegal SYSCO does not sponsor visas.Job description:We are looking for a dedicated, self-motivated Service Desk Engineer for our office in London (Thames Ditton).The UKA Servicedesk is a dedicated to supporting and adding value through world class service to our customers in the UK. Serving as the first touch for all IT issues and ensuring that customer queries are handled through to completion as efficiently aspossible. ServiceDesk staff are exposed to a wide range of different technologies and infrastructures and are encouraged to solve and collaborate to ensure customer satisfaction.Work tasks and responsibilities include:

  • Act as single point of contact for phone calls and emails from Cegal customers regarding IT issues and queries.
  • Serve as on-site technical support for customers when required.
  • Maintain a high standard of customer service.
  • Manage the life cycle of service requests, incidents, and problems through our Service Management System in adherence to ITIL Processes.
  • Utilisation of proactive management tools for monitoring infrastructure status to ensure maximum endpoint and service availability.
  • Ensuring documentation is accurate.
  • Work with other teams/departments when required.
Personal qualifications:
  • 1-2 Years working in a ServiceDesk or Desktop Environment
  • A passion for IT technologies
  • Keen trouble-shooter/problem solver.
  • Capability to accurately record information
  • Knowledge of Service Desk operations and Service-Now (ITSM tool)
  • Ability to deliver a high level of quality and customer experience
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Be a team player and contribute to knowledge transfer and competence development
  • Driving Licensedesirable but not essential
Formal requirements
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Master the English language, both written and verbally
  • Good oral and written presentation skills
Other beneficial qualifications:
  • Knowledge of and experience with ITIL processes.
  • Preferably hold Certifications from i.e., ITIL, Microsoft.
  • The ideal candidate will have familiarisation with the following: Microsoft Azure, Azure Active Directory, Hybrid Cloud, Office 365, Cloud services, Windows server, Windows 10, Secret server, Citrix, RDS, Exchange, TCP / IP, WIFI / WLAN and Active Directory
