Job Description

Business Analyst // Broking // Sequel Eclipse // London Market // Insurance // £600 outside IR35 London // 6 months // Flexible working Our Insurance client has a requirement for a Business Analyst with Broking/ London Market Insurance experience to support with experience in Sequel Eclipse Broking/Underwriting, to join their London based team.Business Analysis Skills & Experience:Essential Skills & Experience

  • Experience working on business change and IT projects.
  • Ability to run workshops and interview individuals to elicit business requirements.
  • Strong business analysis experience and the ability to create a range of documentation such as:
    • Business Processes (as-is & to-be)
    • Business Requirements Documents / User stories
    • Functional Specifications
  • Confident in challenging existing process & procedures and technical teams to implement more efficient ways of working.
  • Good understanding of the capabilities and limitations of technology to be able to push back on requirements and suggest alternatives.
  • Experienced in data flows and systems interactions, infrastructure, and landscapes.
  • Experienced in the design, documentation, and implementation of workflow.
  • Experienced in document template creation and management.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft tools (including, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
  • Proficient analytical, problem solving and conflict resolution skills.
  • Expert written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and report writing.
Desirable Skills & Experience
  • Experience in System Testing and UAT for changes to business systems.
  • Experienced in Sequel Eclipse Broking/UW configuration requirements and uses.
  • Technical knowledge of Sequel Eclipse Broking / Sequel Eclipse Underwriting.
  • Business systems and workflow configuration experience.
  • Knowledge of insurance business accounting.
  • London Market Insurance Claims knowledge.
  • Working knowledge of London Market systems such as IMR and ECF.
  • Experience working on business transformation projects.
  • Experience using agile tools such as Azure DevOps.
