The ideal candidate will use their proven track record to successfully raise the rankings of our website pages, to ultimately drive sales at PLC.With a solid background as an SEO professional, the main focus of your role will be to increase and manage our organic SEO.What to expect:

  • Working with the Head of Marketing you will balance a busy workload and meet tight deadlines.
  • Youll work with data, analysing trends and results, to devise a strategy that will bring PLCs website pages to the top of both organic and paid search engine rankings.
  • Office-based role in the City of London.
ResponsibilitiesAs an SEO specialist, you will:
  • Use your experience and knowledge of search engine results pages (SERP) to bring PLCs website pages to the top rankings of search engines like Google, Yahoo, and Bing
  • Devise and execute methods to track, report, analyse and greatly improve SEO performance
  • Create Lead generating SEO campaigns
  • Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance
  • Perform keyword research and competitive analysis
  • Understand and implement technical SEO audits and changes
  • Execute on-page optimizations
  • Be an expert on and keep up-to-date with, the latest SEO trends, strategies, and algorithm changes
  • Update content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine rankings
  • Implement changes in the content management system (CMS), if required to
  • Collaborate with colleagues and third-party providers to implement necessary features and changes to manage SEO strategy
  • Manage content production by planning content calendars, managing writers (or collaborating with content writing teams), and supporting them on SEO
  • Constantly develop new SEO tests and strategies
  • Present and communicate SEO strategies and projects to management and/or internal stakeholders
  • Serve as the key SEO expert/advocate at PLC
Experience and SkillsYou must have/be able to:
  • Two to three years of experience in successfully developing and executing SEO campaigns
  • Develop optimization strategies that increase the companys search engine results rankings
  • Knowledge of keyword research and data mining tools with experience of researching SEO keywords to use throughout the companys website and marketing materials
  • Monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance
  • Able to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industry
  • Familiarity with WordPress or other content management systems
  • Experience with other aspects of marketing, such as customer growth and promotion, is a plus
  • Be comfortable analysing high volumes of data on a daily basis
  • Experience with SEO industry programs, such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics
  • Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
  • Efficient communication with excellent written and verbal skills
  • Write compelling and high-quality website content, including blog posts and page descriptions
QualificationsYou must hold:
  • CIM Certificate in Professional Digital Marketing
