Job Description

Content Editor, Remote WorkAbout UsNUOPTIMA is a growth agency that uses digital marketing strategies to transform brands into category leaders in a wide array of sectors, from tech to health and wellness. We have extensive experience building and scaling e-commerce brands in the health andwellness niche and are now expanding the digital marketing branch of our company, which provides SEO and PPC services to websites.The RoleThe primary focus of this role is to edit content written by our team of writers for NUOPTIMAs SEO clients. We are looking for responsible and reliable editors with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.Responsibilities include:

  • Reading articles submitted by writers and checking them for errors in grammar, spelling, punctuation and typos.
  • Ensuring that articles comply with NUOPTIMAs SEO content writing guidelines and client instructions.
  • Running articles through Grammarly and a plagiarism checker.
  • Providing feedback to writers.
The Candidate:Were looking for a diligent and detail-oriented team player with a positive can-do attitude who is excited to work with a lean, result-oriented group dedicated to bringing value to clients.About you:
  • Most of all, we are looking for a person who will ensure that we deliver high-quality content to clients every single time.
  • Strong editorial background and exceptional skill in proofreading and ensuring adherence to style guides.
  • Highly motivated self-starter who can work independently.
  • Strong time management.
Required Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of professional writing and editing experience.
  • Native level of English.
Desired Qualifications:These are not requirements for the role but are a plus:
  • Bachelors degree or advanced studies in Journalism, Professional Writing, English, Technical Writing, Communications, or similar field, or equivalent experience.
  • SEO content writing or editing experience.
  • Tech-savvy - experience using GSuite, Trello, Notion, CRM systems, etc.
Compensation:
  • Negotiable based on experience
