We operate on a WordPress platform, catering to a vast audience in the UK and US. Our dynamic team of 30 works remotely, fosteringa collaborative and innovative environment.We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced WordPress/WooCommerce Developer to join our team as the Head of Tech. This role involves maintaining and developing our online store, ensuring high performance and smooth operation. You will be the go-to expertfor all things related to our websites technical aspects.Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain, optimize, and develop our WordPress/WooCommerce online store.
  • Monitor and improve API integrations, ensuring seamless functionality.
  • Regularly clean up databases, removing old orders and inactive customer data.
  • Liaise with external web agencies to delegate and oversee tasks.
  • Proactively identify and fix bugs and issues.
  • Enhance website performance for a superior customer experience.
  • Collaborate with the remote team to implement new features and strategies.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in WordPress and WooCommerce development.
  • Familiarity with WordPress VIP hosting environment.
  • Strong understanding of database management and performance optimization.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and in a remote team environment.
  • Strong communication skills for effective collaboration and task delegation.
