Job RoleSenior Voice Engineer (Mitel)Salary - £35,000-£40,000 Plus Car Allowance & Shift Allowances & Benefits PackageReportable toOperations Manager (Telecoms Support & Delivery)General·The primary focus of this role is to provide expert field engineering for our Mitel products·The secondary focus is to provide Mitel expertise to support our Service Desk·Present the highest level of customer service to every customer, every time·Ensure good working relationships with colleagues·Attend any relevant statutory, mandatory or development training as required·To carry out any other adhoc duties as and when requiredMain Tasks·Mitel MCS/MCP (equivalent of) certified, with products being:MiVoiceBusiness/3300SX2000 (preferred, but not essential)MiCollab Including Audio/Web/VideoconferencingMitelMBGMiVoice Office 250 and 400 (preferred, but not essential)·Strong working knowledge of Networking/ITLAN - setup &troubleshootingWAN - Routing/FirewallingVirtualisation·Any experience working with Avaya IP Office 400 and 500 systems and software including Voicemail Pro would be beneficial.·Ability to work with voice and structured cabling and a good knowledge of general telecoms peripherals (fax machines, PDQ machines, alarm systems, SIP ATAs, bells and tannoy systems) is also vital.·Provide pre-build, installation and go live cover for new and existing installations.·Provide on-site and remote technical support to colleagues,clients and other relevant third parties requiring assistance with equipment, hardware or service configurations and functionality.·Assess situations, solve problems & apply solutions in an adequatetimescale.·Provide cover for the service desk should the location /logistics make it more efficient and effective for you to do so, including absences.·Where appropriate, lead other telecoms and IT engineers during complex deployments, for example at new build hotel-sites.General·Hold a valid and full UK Drivers licence·Be part of the on-call rota to service our customer base·Attend and participate in relevant meetings with the management team, technicians, customers and suppliers as and when requiredPlace of Work·Home based and/or from one of our Group offices - South East England locations·You will be required to work on customer sites as required Required skills
