Job Description

Senior UX DesignerPermanentHybrid workingLondon£83,000Leading global active Asset Manager are currently recruiting for a Senior UX Designer to join their dynamic London team. This is a brand-new permanent position working on a hybrid basis from the firms stunning London headquarters. This role is offering anannual salary of £83,000 plus an exceptional perks, benefits, and generous 20% annual bonus. The role will be working from their City based office 3 days per week, and 2 days per week from home.This prestigious Asset Manager help their clients achieve their long-term financial goals.   • Design user flows, wireframes, and prototypes to communicate design recommendations and elevate the digital experience
  • Lead collaboration with business partners, adhere to accessibility and inclusive design practices, and ensure all work is performed in alignment with repeatable and efficient processes
  • Stay current with experience design methodologies, trends, and techniques, and recommend and research new processes to advance the digital experience strategy
  • Champion and evolve standard process and use cases for the inhouse Design System
  • Leverage creativity, empathy, and problem-solving abilities to achieve both business and user goals
  • Participate in and support all facets of the UX life cycle
  • Deliver mobile-first, responsive designs
  • Have an eye for detail and appreciation for consistency

Must have skills:
  • Experience in UX and/or digital design
  • Superior knowledge of Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop required)
  • Bachelors degree required, preferably in a related subject area: Human Factors, Computer Science with speciality in User Interface Design, Graphical Design or equivalent
  • General understanding of experience analytics, usability testing methodologies, and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data
  • Ability to use data to inform design decisions and recommendations
  • Excellent analytical, strategic conceptual thinking, design thinking, and consulting skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to explain digital concepts and technologies to business leaders, as well as business concepts to technologists
  • Outstanding soft and interpersonal skills, including collaboration, teamwork, facilitation, and negotiation
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • A customer-driven passion for excellence
Desirable skills:
  • Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
  • CMS platform knowledge
  • WordPress or other blogging platform experience
  • Design experience in the financial industry
