Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Test Analyst to join our IT Department located at our Head Office in Central London, NW1 4LJ (close to Regents Park & Baker Street tube stations).The London Clinic is one of the UK’s largest private hospitals, and we have been providing exceptional care since 1932. We have circa 1300 employees across 8 premises, where we perform highly complex procedures as well as routine surgery & medicine. The IT department strives to provide world class, future proof and cost effective IT solutions that support The London Clinic delivering world class healthcare.Job Profile:As the Senior Test Analyst you will work closely with Project Managers, third-party suppliers and clinical specialists to ensure that systems are tested to the highest standards.

  • Job Type: This is a full-time, permanent position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Salary: The attractive salary for this role is £55,000 - £63,672, depending upon skills and experience.

  • Duties & Responsibilities
  • Play your part in delivering digital transformation by producing test plans, test specifications, test scripts and test completion reports that ensure quality is built in from the start.
  • Validate that the solutions which are planned to be released meet quality, performance, architectural and functional requirements and are fit for purpose.
  • Ensure that all test effort is effectively planned, monitored and executed and core activities are completed in a structured, consistent and timely manner.
  • Act as a point of escalation when issues arise from testing activities, and ensure that defects are logged and tracked through to resolution.
  • Assist with the process improvement activities to ensure that The London Clinic’s testing activities are continuously improving.
  • Deputise for the Head of Strategic Testing as required.
  • Skills & Experience
  • Proven track record in testing with extensive knowledge of the full testing life-cycle including user acceptance and operational testing.
  • Accredited in relevant testing techniques and technologies - ISTQB/ISEB Foundation Certificate is essential, and ISTQB Advanced Test Management is desirable.
  • Experience of working within a medical/healthcare environment would be advantageous, as would knowledge of medical standards such as HL7, DICOM etc.
  • Experience with enterprise integration and test tools with the ability to design and implement a project testing schedule, and be able to adapt appropriately to multiple priorities.
  • Self-motivated individual who demonstrates strong leadership skills, and can quickly assimilate information from clinical and non-clinical subject matter experts to drive well-targeted, effective and efficient test campaigns.
  • Excellent organisation and analytical skills, and adept at working within a team.
