Job Description

We have an amazing opportunity for a Senior Structural Revit Technician to join a prestigious consultancy in Central London. As the selected candidate you will be working on a range of projects, initially a prestigious refurbishment scheme.Requirements:

  • Hold a minimum of an HNC/HND in civil engineering or relevant engineering course or have 20+ years of relevant experience within the civil & structural field.
  • 7+ years Revit experience within a UK structures environment and at least 15 years working for a civil and structural engineering company/companies in the UK (London firms desirable) ;
  • Experience of modelling non linear existing masonry structures, including refurbishment and temporary works elements;
  • Able to review models (clash detection) and proficiency in Navisworks Manage, Revizto and excellent knowledge of AutoCAD required;
  • Able to produce 3D & 4D BIM models to a minimum Level 2 Standard. Able to use and create project templates and filters to in-house standards;
  • Able to follow the required Quality Assurance Systems and BEP;
  • Familiarity with Uniclass and COBie references;
  • Able to use and create Parametric Families;
  • Able to use Dynamo, Revizto and Aconex;
  • Excellent engineering knowledge - being able to identify areas that do not work or that are not designed with a practical approach. Being able to highlight any issues with design and propose solutions;
  • CSCS card holder (desirable);
  • Knowledge of 3DMax, Synchro, Grasshopper or similar 3D packages (desirable);
  • Used to multi-disciplinary collaborative working;
  • Experience of modelling historic and large scale buildings;
  • Able to understand and work with Point Cloud surveys to be able to interpret, measure and model from the data.
