Senior Structural Engineerpermanent, full timeLocation: London (West)Salary: £45,000 - 50,000Our client is a growing architectural consultancy operating from the office in West London. They are looking to expand the range of their services and take a Senior Structural Engineer on board.Its an exciting and unique opportunity that requires a right kind of person. The Senior Structural Engineer we are looking for will be someone with good knowledge of structural design of residential projects and experience working with standard materials.The role will evolve as the company grows - the client is looking to build the Structural Design department around the right Senior Structural Engineer candidate, so Candidates who are chartered or in the process of getting chartered will have great advantage.Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with designers and planning consultants in developing the designs
  • Delivering high quality drawings and calculations using professional software (Tekla/Tedds, Revit)
  • Preparing Building Regulations packages for submission to the Local Authority
  • Carrying out structural surveys and site inspections - locally, within 1h drive
