The role will also involveliaising with class teachers, TAs, parents/carers and other stakeholders. Theideal candidates will hold relevant qualifications, including Maths and EnglishGCSEand demonstrate high levels of skill and experience in working withchildren with a variety of SEN including social and communication difficultiesincluding ASD. The Senior Specialist Teaching Assistant willreport to the Deputy Headteacher Inclusion and will be involved in thestrategic planning in relation to SEN and inclusion acrossthe school.This appointment will start on31st August, 2021. Salary is subject to experience, but will be within TheDecus Educational Trust (TDET) Band 5, point 14-17.
