Job Description

Background:The scope of the consultant services is to assist in.:We are looking for a senior engineer with extensive knowledge within WebMethods and the GCP platform.

  • Development of high-quality software design and architecture
  • Development of high-quality software code which has been tested and is ready to be shipped, applying and using good practices and agreed standards
  • Work in agile teams, contributing to the development and maintenance of products and solutions
  • Provide experience, and guide other team members, regarding how to migrated solutions from WebMethods to GCP tools.
  • Apply and adhere to good practice software engineering practices (continuous integration, automated tests, code reviews) within an agile/iterative development approach including validation and verification testing
  • Ensure good understanding of each user story and the expected outcome, asking for further detail when required
  • Contributing to the continuous development of standards against which software development should take place as well as exploring and bring in new technologies to boost innovation and development productivity
  • Create secure solutions to handle sensitive Co-worker data
  • See the data as a product that is made available through various interfaces that can serve our consumers with the required data
    • Requirements: Desired knowledge, competence, experience, skills etc.:The person should have been working with migrating solutions from WebMethods to GCP and have the skillset to drive best practice within this area
  • Knowledge of software engineering principles
  • Knowledge of software engineering practices including test automation, DevOps, code versioning, with knowledge and experience of using best practice standard toolsets
  • Knowledge of sharing and securing data through different interfaces
  • Experience of working in agile/iterative software development teams, including delivery to agreed commitments
  • Previous experience of designing, setting up and optimizing data flows
  • Knowledge of design and architecture concepts and ability to apply knowledge within the development cycle
  • Experience in agile development practices, in which requirements and solutions evolve through the collaborative effort of self-organizing cross functional teams
  • Knowledge of corporate identity, core values and vision of creating a better everyday life for the many people
