What Youll Do

• Work on a global platform for payment processing
• Design, develop, and perform code reviews
• Co-work with Quality Assurance (QA) team on test automation and rollout of new features
• Contribute to the vision, understand product roadmap, integrate business value with experience and contribute to building and engineering culture within the team
• Exhibit good understanding of Cloud concepts, develop easy to support software, liase with SRE team to factor in their requirements, and deliver high quality software while demonstrating a proficient understanding of software development concepts

How Youll Lead

• Mentoring developers and providing insight
• Working with product owners to build fit for purpose solutions
• Communicating across development and infrastructure teams for end-to-end delivery

Skills Youll Need

• Experience deploying to or migrating to and from cloud services like Google Cloud, and using Test Driven Development or Design (TDD) and Behavior Driven Development (BDD) practice, experience with performance/load testing, and experience with Java profilers
• Knowledge of SOAP, REST Web Services, Kubernetes/OpenShift, and helm
• Experience with wide swaths of common software stacks and software development lifecycle including but not limited to front end, backend, extract, transform, load (ETL) applications, low latency applications and continuous integration/continuous deploymentor development (CI/CD)
• Hands-on knowledge of Kafka/IBM Message Queue (MQ) messaging, JavaScript, Angular JS/Angular, HTML, CSS. Oracle database, Structured Query Language (SQL), ORM Technologies, and scripting language such as Linux
• Good understanding on network protocol stack TPC, HTTP, TLS, and in-depth knowledge of core Java, Spring and Spring Book

ExpectationsIt is the Banks expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the Cary office in accordance with the Banks hybrid working model. The salary range for this position in Cary is $125,000 to $203,000. Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidates skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary rangesdo not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
