Lyst was founded in London in 2010, and has raised over $160m from leading investors including Accel, Balderton, DraperEsprit, Fidelity International, and LVMH.*About the role:* We are looking for a Senior Backend Engineer on the Product Data team that can deliver high impact changes and support their teammates.***What will you be working on** Improving our data pipelinethat powers our over 8M in-stock products catalog* We are currently going through a Data Lake focus, so there will be opportunity to redesign legacy systems and improve their robustness and how we use their data* Understanding the impact Data has for our catalogand our customers* Mentoring, coaching and supporting the team and line managing some of them* Collaborating with product managers and other disciplines* We are fully AWS hosted, working with Python (Django) and using a range of tools and setups: ECS, K8s,Docker, CircleCI, Postgresql, Aurora, Redis, SQS, SNS***Requirements:** You want to contribute to an inclusive and positive working environment for everyone* You have improved and refactored legacy systems into a better, more robust architecture* You havementored junior colleagues and ideally performed some line management duties* You are able to communicate clearly and be humble when sharing ideas with everyone on the team* You like having code that is readable by everyone, well tested and robust in production*You have a curious mindset and actively want to learn* You enjoy working with data pipelines, distributed systems and scalability problems* You have previous experience working in a product-led team***Things that matter to us:** You are pragmatic and you likeengaging with hard engineering problems* You like all things about Data, passing it around, parsing it, storing it and reporting on it* You are curious at heart and like to take ownership of something to make it better* You are a team player and communicatewith your peers and other stakeholders in the company on a day to day basis* Being confronted with a difficult or strange problem makes you feel like a detective that wants to crack the mystery* You enjoy nurturing your colleagues and empowering the team tothe fullest of their ability-* You get 29 days time off throughout the year to take a well earned rest, in addition to the 8 public bank holidays* The Lyst Clothing Benefit.
