We work with a wide range of partners across industriessuch as price comparison and print media, as well as PropTech, FinTech and financialservices, helping them power their own successful energy and telecoms switching solutionsto their customers.Senior SEO Manager Role:We have an exciting new opportunity for a Senior SEO Manager to join our Marketing Teamreporting to our Marketing Director. The role will focus on increasing the organic searchfootprint of Comparison Tech’s energy and telecoms websites and grow organic trafficshare.Senior SEO Manager Responsibilities:• Establish SEO as a strategic priority in the business and devise a plan to significantlyincrease organic traffic share and volume• Manage the SEO strategy and implementation for energyhelpline.com acrosstechnical SEO, content and backlinks, focusing on relevant keywords and pages• Input into the SEO strategy and migration plan for the telecoms websites of thebusiness, e.g. broadband-finder.co.uk, digital-tv.co.uk, mobile-phones.co.uk• Utilise state-of-the-art SEO tools and techniques to inform the strategy and trackperformance• Conduct regular keyword research and prioritisation to inform strategy• Work closely with the content team to ensure all content is SEO optimised, reflectskeyword priorities and is updated on a regular basis• Actively participate in our web squad, drive the technical SEO agenda and securecontinuous implementation of technical SEO tasks and site speed improvements• Collaborate with PR and content teams to get quality backlinks, establish an in-house setup to get backlinks alongside new content creation and on a regular basis• Provide weekly/monthly reporting on SEO key metrics, e.g. traffic, keywordperformance, backlinks• Regular best practice sharing with the SEO community to keep abreast of the latesttrends• Evolve practices using the Google algorithm and how to best respond to rules andchanges• Keep the business informed about SEO trends and performanceSenior SEO Manager Requirements:• Significant demonstrable experience in SEO, preferably from the energy,telecoms, comparison, home services or personal finance sector• Experience in devising SEO strategies from scratch and managing implementation• A strong background in technical SEO and backlink strategy• Experience of being part of a cross-channel team and managing the interplaybetween SEO, technical implementation, content and PR• Expert user in relevant SEO tools, e.g. SEMRush, Ahref, Screaming Frog or similar• Strong experience of organisational and project management with a focus onplanning, setting priorities, executing process and delivering results on time• Excellent problem-solver with a high level of resilience, maturity and soundjudgment• Ambitious self-starter, willing to take initiative• Highly developed verbal, written, analytical and presentation skills• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data insights into actions• Outside-in perspective, with the drive and desire to stay close to industry trends andidentify opportunities• The ability to be strategic, yet also execute• Hands-on, ‘roll up sleeves’ approach, and ability, to getting the job done• Passion for helping consumers save money on their bills and being part of the driveto create a more competitive home services market.• Degree desired, preferably in digital marketing, communications or relatedCompany Benefits:Our aim at Comparison Tech is to offer an inclusive great place to work for all ouremployee’s.
