Job Description

Senior Salesforce Developer - London - Remote WorkingUp to £50k paMy Client is a registered Salesforce Partner which specialises in delivering Salesforce Sales and Service cloud implementations to the financial services sector. Their clients range from small financial service start-ups to world leading blue chip clients. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of Salesforce experience in development and object model architecture. The candidate should be able to convey when coded solutions should be considered over the Salesforces’ traditional declarative tools. The candidate should have a good understanding of the following areas:

  • Visualforce
  • Apex / Triggers (an understanding of trigger handler patterns)
  • Batch Apex (Scheduled, Queueable)
  • Custom Email Handlers
  • Unit Testing (Mock testing)
  • JavaScript (ES6)
  • Web Components
  • Authentication (Connected Apps, JWT)
  • SSO (SAML 2.0)
  • Sharing (including manual apex sharing)
  • Platform Security (Permission Sets / Permission Set Groups)
  • GIT
  • SFDX (Including working with Scratch Orgs)
  • Deployments (Changesets and CI/CD)
  • Working with large data volumes
  • ETL concepts and tools
  • Experience with another language such as .Net, PHP, Node.js, Python, Java would be advantageous but not necessary
    • Salesforce certifications are desirable but not necessary, my client is a strong believer in demonstrated technical abilities over Salesforce certifications.My clients existing technical team comprises of stereotypical developers/geeks/nerds who are highly passionate about coding and technical infrastructure and not your standard ‘9-5 coders’. The team has a wealth of knowledge and is now looking for like-minded individuals.Our client can wait for the perfect candidate if needs be, but an immediate start would be preferred.Candidates must reside in the UK with an existing working visa or right to work in the UK.
