Job Description

This is an ideal opportunity to supporting the Head of Portfolio Management and the Portfolio Management Leadership team with the coordination of regulatory returns, management information requests, internal audit actions and board pack production across the portfolio management team within Corporate Credit Risk. What youll be doing Focusing on Covid-19 related data tracking, monitoring and reporting utilising the Big Data environment which includes HADOOP (data lake), SAS and excel based data sets. Ensuring that deadlines are met, tracking key milestones and escalating issues to the Head of Portfolio Management. Undertaking sense checks of packs / returns to ensure effective completion prior to seeking Director or Chief Credit Officer Approval ahead of submission. Acting as a liaison point with other functions across the corporate bank and the wider risk division. Contributing to the production of team MI to track performance across the Portfolio Management Team. Supporting with the transition to a big data environment, automating production of MI. What were looking for A good working knowledge of one or more of the Santander Business, Corporate or Wholesale functions. A background in Credit Risk is also desirable. Solid understanding of Big Data, MI automation and visualisation (experiencing using MicroStrategy or similar visualisation tools). Analytical, with excellent attention to detail - able to quickly spot potential mistakes and/or anomalies. Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Advanced Excel, ideally VBA and experience of SAS. Experience from within another reporting function, such as Finance. This role is a 12 month fixed term contract and will be based in London.
