Job Purpose StatementAs the Senior RFP Writer, you will co-ordinate and produce accurate, timely RFPs (Requests for Proposal), RFIs (Requests for Information) and DDQs (Due Diligence Questionnaires) as well as liaise with portfolio managers and subject matter authorities to improveRFP answers and ensure messages are understood. Role ResponsibilitiesHow youll spend your time....

• To co-ordinate and produce accurate, timely RFPs (Requests for Proposal), RFIs (Requests for Information) and DDQs (Due Diligence Questionnaires) for institutional and wholesale prospects and existing clients according to internal brand/style guidelinesand compliance regulations.
• To collaborate closely with portfolio managers and subject matter authorities to improve RFP answers, ensure key messages are understood, and present Columbia Threadneedles capabilities in the most compelling way possible.
• To ensure completion of multiple proposals within tight timeframes.
• To ensure the RFP database is kept up-to-date and accurate, and quality continually improved
• To support the RFP team with adhoc requests and projects

• Articulate and confident with excellent communication skills across all levels including management
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong project management skills - comfortable acting as the point-person on large tenders working alongside multiple stakeholders from across the business
• Excellent writing and proof-reading skills
• Excellent analytical skills and comfortable manipulating data
• Ability to handle a heavy, deadline-orientated, varied workload
• Committed team player with a positive demeanor and an exceptional work ethic
• Extensive experience responding to complex RFPs within an institutional investment management business environment
• A sound proven understanding of a range of asset classes (ideally with experience in LDI, Fiduciary and Responsible Investment)
• Strong Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint skills
• Prior knowledge of Qvidian advantage but not crucial
