Job Description

Our local authority client based in North London are urgently seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Support Officer.*£21 AN HOUR UMBRELLA**MAINLY WORKING FROM HOME*Purpose of Job:

  • To provide end to end recruitment administrative and clerical support to the recruitment function, ensuring high quality, fast and safe recruitment. The role will include high volume recruitment, responsibility for managing new vacancies, training for newstarters, providing training for hiring Managers. Including the uploading of jobs, tracking ad performance, managing candidate enquiries, monitoring of pre-employment check performance, ensuring hiring managers are up to date with candidate progression andsupport staff on-boarding.
  • Work in directly partnership with the Recruitment Consultant to ensure hiring managers gain a great experience throughout their hiring journey.
  • Provide end to end administrative support with regards to the management of the Government Client Management System (CMS) for visa’s.
  • Provide end to end administrative support with regards to temporary and permanent agency solutions and management of the digital order system (MATRIX)
Key accountabilities:
  • Provide Recruitment administrative support with regards to management and maintenance of internal ATS and manage government SMS system for visas.
  • Working in partnership with the Recruitment Consultant, assist managers with conducting Vacancy Planning Meetings, recruitment queries, writing and placing adverts on ATS system and external job boards.
  • Prepare and post social media advert posts on Councils Linkedin/Facebook/Twitter pages and update careers website.
  • Oversee advert performance and escalate to the Recruitment Consultant to identify potential remedies.
  • Support hiring managers with longlisting, invitations to interview and all other recruitment documentation.
  • Deal with any candidate related queries with regards to their application and provide a good candidate management service.
  • Provide assistance on recruitment related projects and management information as required by the Recruitment Consultant.
Experience & Knowledge
  • Working knowledge of HR recruitment best practice
  • Previous recruitment experience in public or private sector
  • Experience of working in an Administrative setting
  • Recruitment admin experience including volume recruitment
  • Experience of writing adverts
  • HR compliance experience
  • Recruitment Applicant Tracking System Experience
