Job Description

Global Accounting Network is recruiting a Senior Product Controller to join a leading and ever-growing independent and integrated energy company, that provides its customers with innovative energy solutions for their transportation, heating and industrialneeds.This is a broad and challenging role for an ambitious, commercially minded professional and involves working closely with the Middle Office team of 4 members and maintaining strong relationships with all areas of the business including Management, Trading,Marketing, Accounting, Operations, Treasury, and Back Office.The responsibilities of the Senior Product Controller will include:

  • Calculation, monitoring and reporting of daily positions
  • Preparing daily P&L for one portfolio
  • Daily reconciliation of physical and derivative trades
  • Validate and approve new purchase and sales deals, ensuring costs are accurate and complete
  • Supporting the business to ensure product movements are correctly recorded in the ETRM system
  • Supporting the back office to resolve queries on sales and purchase invoices
  • Assist in developing and ensuring robust controls across the front office system
The successful Senior Product Controller will have:
  • 3/4 years experience across a similar, senior role,
  • Expert IT and Excel skills, alongside experience in VBA and SQL
  • Experienced in the energy or commodity sectors
The package on offer for the Senior Product Controller is:
  • A salary of up to £80,000 (experience dependent)
