Job Description

Global Pharma, Very flexible home based positioning, Excellent bonus scheme Your new companyThe business are a leading Global Pharma who are in the midst of mass expanding their Global Statistical Programming function and are currently searching for Programmers across all levels of seniority. Specifically they are looking for multiple Senior, Principal and Lead Statistical Programmers to become projects leads on projects of varying complexity levels.Its an extremely exciting time to join the business as they are set to launch 8 products within the next 18 months and several highly promising studies throughout their current pipeline. The available roles within the Programming function would see you lead the Programming deliverables for these high profile studies.Your new roleThe responsibilities will be dependant upon your seniority:

  • Lead/Contribute to the project programming team and influence key stakeholders ensuring upward communication of major issues
  • Develop and encourage a culture of innovation, and act as a role model to others in actively owning and sharing the use of innovative methods throughout the statistical programming department
  • Provide oversight and direction of programming activities within the project team
  • Ensure commitment to quality standards and processes and efficient delivery.
  • Closely collaborate with other teams assigned to the study and act as a key point of contact for Programming aspects
  • Represent and enhance the external profile of UCBs Programmers, through involvement in external industry bodies
  • Oversee and ensure quality of deliverables produced by external vendors
    • What youll need to succeed
  • BSc in Statistics, Mathematical, Statistical Computer Science or Life Science, or a related field
  • Extensive experience of working within the Pharmaceutical industry
  • Extensive SAS and/or R programming knowledge
  • Extensive knowledge of the drug development program across all phases of clinical studies
  • Knowledge of SDTM/ADaM CDISC standards
