Job Description

Senior PHP Back End Developer - £55k - Fully RemoteSalary: £55,000Location: 1x month in Holborn, LondonOur client are an innovative and diverse technology company providing B2B customer solutions throughout their global spread of teams. They work directly with online gaming/gambling industry. industries. Our client is looking for a Lead PHP Back End developerto maintain and up scaling in-house PHP/Symfony applications as well as third-party APIs.Key Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain and make improvements to PHP/Symfony Applications
  • Manage team of developers as well as one to one performance reviews
  • Integrate and Create 3rd party APIs
  • Write unit and integration tests
  • Project management of, breaking down product requirements, provide estimates and deliver solutions
  • Troubleshoot and fix production issues
Our expectations for the ideal candidate:
  • Experience with Symfony and Lumen or Zend
  • Senior knowledge and experience with MySQL/PostgresSQL Database
  • Good knowledge of JSON or error handling
  • Experience with Messaging Queue tools such as; RabbitMQ, Amazon SQS, Iron.IO, Socket.IO
  • Experience with; Git, Jira and Confluence
  • Experience mentoring and supporting on-site and off-shore developers
  • Experience with Full Stack Development with ReactJS
