If youd like to help us build a world-class logistics practice, this is your chance to make history.Amazon Logistics is seeking a Senior Optimization Manager (6 month contract role) to work in the EU Fleet Procurement and Capacity (FPAC) organization. FPAC at Amazon must manage the traditional trade off of supply chain in a fast scaling business with highup-front capital investment, with challenges increasing due to new geopolitical scenarios and post-covid supply constraints, and high demand volatility.The Fleet Cost Optimization team drive programs and process improvements to increase our fleet utilization and optimise our cost base, whilst delivering a win-win outcome for Amazon and our customers. A Senior Optimization Manager will innovate by finding newways to manage Amazon Logistics fleet. They will scale new programs quickly and with high quality, to drive continuous value to our Delivery Service Provider (DSP) partners.The position can be located in London, Manchester, Luxembourg, Munich, Berlin, Paris, Madrid, Barcelona or Milan.We are open to hiring candidates to work out of one of the following locations:London, GBRBASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field • Proven experience in operational or complex program management environments • Ability to effectively work with a variety of organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities • Excellent communication skills with a high bar for accuracy and detail.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS • Masters or other post-graduate degree• Experience in managing complex projects and programs• Experience within a supply chain or logistics environment• Experience of working in pan-regional role (e.g. EU) is a plusAmazon is an equal opportunities employer.
